Radish Scarlet Globe is a fast, easy growing root vegetable which produces vibrant red, evenly formed roots with a pure white, crisp flesh and a delicate flavour. A great plant for every garden as they make an excellent catch crop between rows of slower growing vegetables. A great source of vitamin C and aids healthy digestion. An excellent addition to salads or stir fries. Root vegetables boast a host of colours and flavours and include carrots, radish, horseradish, sweet potato, turnip and beetroot. Their low rate of metabolism allows for a relatively long postharvest life. Thanks to their high water content, they are key ingredients for a low fat diet. This wholefood is well suited for all cooking options: grilling, mashing, roasting, frying and even in soups. Don't skimp on sunshine when growing them!
