Willow campaign gets a helping hand from QD Stores
Staff at the value retailer raised £1500 to help Willow Freeman of Great Yarmouth.
Four year-old Willow suffers from gastroparesis and has been fed intravenously since she was 14-months old.
Willow and her mum Leanne were presented with a cheque for the donation when they visited QD's Barrack Street headquarters.
Says Leanne: "We're so grateful to everyone at QD. Most days, Willow needs to be hooked up to the machine for up to sixteen hours and that doesn't leave a lot of time for her to enjoy much else otherwise.
"Days out and family holidays are extremely limited by the time and work involved in transporting all her medicines, feed and equipment," she adds.
The funds raised by QD Stores goes to Willow's supporting charity Tree of Hope, which helps the families of sick children in the UK who need specialist medical surgery, treatment, therapy and equipment in order to free them from suffering, giving a better quality to their young lives.
