Beverley garden centre celebrates it's 1st anniversary
Beverley resident Tony visited the Hull Bridge Road site to collect his Einhell Electric Rotary Mower after getting closest to guessing how many 40 litre bags of multi-purpose compost the centre had sold in the twelve months since opening.
"Tony estimated 7,897 bags closest to the actual figure, says garden centre manager Lee Jackson (pictured shaking hands with Tony - centre). "That was great going!"
"This store has just about all I want," said Tony who joined Lee and his staff for a 1st birthday cake cutting while collecting his prize.
"It's thanks to the support of people like Tony that Cherry Lane Beverley celebrates such a successful first year," said Lee.
"We're looking forward giving a warm welcome to regular and new customers now we've finished improving facilities here."
After months of installing new and updated facilities at Beverley, Cherry Lane Garden Centers re-opened the doors at the evergreen destination on May 6th (2013).
From plants, shrubs and trees and everything to tend them, to leisure furniture, house- and giftware, Beverley's got the lot. Cherry Lane bring Beverley not only better buying power but an even wider range of garden and home goods to excite bargain hunters.
Gardeners will head straight for the fantastic summer plant bedding and new planteria while pet owners will make for brand new in-store franchise 'Scallywags', offering big brand pet products at great prices.
The Centre's 100-seater Bistro will be serving a range of home-cooked food, making Beverley a great day out for all the family.
